Don Lawler
Storytellers Videography & Photography

"I've worked with Dale on corporate and family video projects for almost fifteen years, and I recommend him highly. Whether he's writing a script or editing a video, Dale has a talent for crafting a narrative and adding creative touches that bring out the best in the material. He is a conscientious project manager and ensures high standards as a production and post-production supervisor."

Father Don Mowery
Founder & Executive Director (retired)
Youth Service USA (now BRIDGES Inc.)

"Berryhill Communications began working for Youth Service USA in 1987. They designed a new logo and letterhead for us, produced our newsletter, and handled our publicity on a retainer basis. We were always pleased with their work. I have maintained a friendship with Dale Berryhill ever since, and consider him to be a person of high character."

Barbara Hyde
Hyde Family Foundations
President, KIPP Memphis

"The design by Berryhill Communications of the logo and printed materials for KIPP Academy was right on target. Dale and his team have shown a real interest in the success of the school."

Jim Gilliland
Attorney and former counsel, U.S. Department of Agriculture

In 1923, Jim Gilliland's mother helped start the Le Bonheur Club, which later opened
Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center. In 2002, the Gilliland family donated funds for a video chronicling the history of both the Club and the hospital. In 2004, the video was awarded a Silver Certificate in the national Telly Awards.

"The Le Bonheur film was simply outstanding. Dale and the rest of the team took the history, wove in the personalities, and turned out a gem. Congratulations to everyone involved. We were so pleased with the finished product that we've since engaged Berryhill Communications to produce two family videos for us."

Eugene K. Cashman, Jr.
President
The Urban Child Institute

"I've known Dale Berryhill since 1983, when he joined the marketing department of Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, where I was president. Dale became one of our go-to people for all types of writing projects, from newsletter articles to speeches. When he formed Berryhill Communications in 1987, we continued to call on him for various projects, including a full-color brochure about our new Heart Center.

"More recently, I had the idea of a book chronicling the history of Le Bonheur, in honor of the hospital's 50th birthday in 2002. I called on Dale to do the research, writing, photo selection, and art direction for this 170-page book. The finished product speaks for the quality of his work and talents.

"When writing the history of an institution like Le Bonheur, the real challenge is not in collecting all the facts, but in capturing the unique spirit of the organization. Dale and his team did that from the cover design to the epilogue."

Robert M. Fulmer, PhD.
Distinguished Visiting Professor of Strategy
Pepperdine University

Dale Berryhill was hired to assist in copyediting this book, which was published in 2004.

"This book was written for corporate managers, not for our fellow business professors. Dale's business background helped us strike the right tone for our audience, while his academic experience helped him understand and preserve the research-based origins of the material. He served as an excellent translator between the two worlds."

Jack Murrah
President
Lyndhurst Foundation
Chattanooga, Tennessee

In 1998, Berryhill Communications Inc. was contracted to conduct public education efforts on behalf of the Charter School Resource Center of Tennessee. These efforts continued through 2001, culminating in the passage of charter school legislation in the state. Jack Murrah was the organization's board chairman during these years.

"Dale generated a constant stream of creative ideas for our statewide public awareness campaign. The board of directors was always pleased with the quality of materials he produced."

Caleb Quaye
Former guitarist for Elton John, Hall & Oates, and others
Pasadena, California

From the 1960s to the 1980s, record producer and rock guitarist Caleb Quaye worked with some of the biggest names in popular music, including Elton John, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, and Hall & Oates. (In 2000, Eric Clapton called Caleb "the greatest guitar player in the world.") In the early '80s, Caleb left the music business to go on staff with the Foursquare Gospel Church, where he served as national music & worship director. Today he operates his own ministry, New World Music, traveling around the world to speak and play music to youth groups and other church groups. Several years ago, he asked Dale Berryhill to assist him in writing his autobiography. The resulting book, A Voice Louder Than Rock & Roll, was published in February 2006.

"I highly recommend Dale Berryhill as an excellent writer gifted with clarity of communication. Having known him for a few years I affectionately call him my 'wordsmith' because of his painstaking attention to detail. He does great work."
